We re currently seeking experienced Process Workers / Packers to join a large and well-established chicken production facility located in Somerville for an immediate start.You will become part of a fast-paced production team responsible for packing, quality checking, and preparing chicken products while maintaining high food safety and quality standards.Location: SomervilleShift Times: Monday - Friday | 6am - 2:30pm OR 2:30pm 11pmAbout the RolePacking and preparing raw chicken products for dispatchQuality checking products to ensure they meet customer and food safety standardsLabelling and packaging products accuratelyHandling raw chicken products and spices in a chilled production environmentCompleting manual handling tasks (up to 20kg when required)Maintaining a clean and hygienic work areaWorking efficiently to meet daily production targets and KPIsIdentifying and reporting any food safety or quality concernsAbout YouPrevious experience in food production, process work, packing, or manufacturingComfortable handling raw chicken products and working in a cold environmentAbility to work in a quick-paced production environmentAble to commit to Monday to Friday afternoon shifts, with overtime when requiredPhysically fit and capable of repetitive manual handlingReliable, punctual, and looking for ongoing employmentDue to the location and shift times, you must have your own reliable transport.You may be required to complete pre-employment checks prior to commencement.
