EARN $70,000–$80,000 pa + Super | Negotiable Based On ExperienceJoin a Professional Team of Hydraulic and Mechanical SpecialistsPerfect Chance for an Organised, Proactive Operator to Run the Workshop FloorAbout The CompanyOur client is a professional team of hydraulic and mechanical specialists based in the Fraser Coast, just 15 minutes from Hervey Bay.About The OpportunityThe primary purpose of this position is to run the day-to-day operation of the workshop, keeping technicians on the tools, jobs flowing, and customers informed.Some of your responsibilities will include:Managing customer service - phones, bookings, repair updates, and collectionsCoordinating workshop scheduling - tracking every job, technician, and priority to keep techs moving with no downtimeBuilding and following up quotes, applying pricing, freight and labour correctlySourcing and ordering parts, managing inventory, and coordinating warranty claimsOwning each job through its full lifecycle, from approval through to invoicingCoordinating mobile service jobs, breakdowns, and route planning across the service trucksSupporting technicians proactively - parts, approvals, and customer calls sorted before they're neededFollowing up quotes and dormant customers,



and promoting mobile service and preventative maintenanceAbout YouThe successful candidate will have:Strong organisational skills, with the ability tojuggle multiple jobsExcellent communication skills across customers, technicians, and suppliersA proactive, problem-solving mindset - someone who sees issues coming and sorts them before they escapeGood computer skills and the ability to pick up new software quicklyMechanically minded, or an interest in hydraulic and mechanical equipment - hydraulic knowledge isn't essential, just a willingness to learnReliability and accountability, with a strong attention to detailWhat's in it for You?
