Job Description
As a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, you'll be a supporter, a strategist, a behaviour detective and occasionally the person who teaches everyone to breathe again after a melt-down.
Your work will be meaningful, hand-on, and genuinely life-changing for the people you support.
This role is based in Jindalee and surrounding areas, where you will support NDIS participants within the local community.
What you'll be doing
Evaluating, developing & delivering evidence-based support plans
Creating meaningful goals using a positive behaviour support framework
Building capacity in the people who support our participants, families, carers, friends, support workers
Working alongside a brilliant multidisciplinary team
Championing the reduction (and elimination!) of restrictive practices
You'll thrive with us if you:
Hold a degree in allied health or a related field
Have experience reading, implementing, reviewing or creating behaviour support plans
Hold NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner status
Don't yet have BSP registration?
That's okay- we can help you get there
Have a genuine passion for disability support
Have experience working with complex and challenging behaviours
Love working with people and love writing (yes, there will be paperwork)
