As a Production Road Crew Operator,
you'll play a critical role in maintaining underground roadways and ensuring safe access for personnel and equipment across the mine.
Working as part of a collaborative crew, you'll operate underground mobile equipment and contribute to road maintenance and site-wide production activities.Key deliverables of this role include, but are not limited to:Operate underground production and road maintenance equipment safely and efficientlyMaintain haul roads, intersections, passing bays, and work areas to required standardsAssist with scaling, bogging, clean-up, and general underground services activitiesConduct pre-start inspections and report equipment defectsIdentify hazards and apply critical controls to manage riskParticipate in safe production meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiativesMaintain housekeeping standards and support a positive safety cultureSpecific tasks as directed by the Underground Shift Supervisor.In Addition, You Will Also Ideally HaveProven track record in promoting and managing safety in the workplaceWillingness to take ownership of issues associated with your roleExperience operating underground mobile equipment such as integrated tool carriersAbility to work effectively within a team environmentGood communication skills and a proactive approach to problem solvingManual C Class Driver's License and Working at Heights ticket is requiredAt Newmont, our people are our strength and we're committed to a safe, inclusive and supportive workplace.
