The successful intern would get an exposure to the following duties:
Prepare and maintain financial records to ensure accuracy and completeness
Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts regularly
Record day-to-day financial transactions in the accounting system
Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) in a timely manner
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and tax regulations
Assist with trust accounting for property management and sales systems, including receipting and reconciliations
Support payroll processing, ensuring accuracy in deductions, payments, and reporting
Provide administrative support such as filing, responding to inquiries, and general bookkeeping tasks.
