Position Purpose:We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Production Manager to lead our Caravan and Toy Hauler assembly lines.
You will oversee the end-to-end manufacturing process from chassis delivery to final pre-delivery inspection (PDI), ensuring build targets are met without compromising safety or premium quality.Thisis a key role which requires a high level of communication with team members and managementfrom start to finish.Key Responsibilities:Line Management: Coordinate daily workflows across chassis setup, framing, plumbing, electrical rough-ins, cabinetry fit-out, external cladding, and final detailing.
Track vans through the build process, keep all stakeholders updated, and relay this information to management.Target Achievement: Monitor daily build numbers to meet strict weekly and monthly delivery deadlines.Quality Control (QC): Enforce strict inspection checkpoints to eliminate water leaks, electrical faults, and cosmetic defects before final sign-off.WHS & Compliance: Maintain a zero-harm workshop by enforcing safe work practices and Victoria's OHS guidelines.Team Leadership: Lead, roster, and mentor assembly staff, cabinet makers,



and trade assistants.Continuous Improvement: Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce material waste and solve line bottlenecks.Parts & Inventory ManagementRequired Skills & Experience:Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Production Manager or Production Supervisor in the caravan or automotive manufacturing industry.Deep technical understanding of aluminium framing, composite panels, and 12V/240V caravan systems.Solid leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse, fast-paced factory floor.High proficiency in production tracking and inventory management software.Hirer responsiveness Salary match Number of applicantsYour application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?
