The Position
Work collaboratively with a team of Chefs, Kitchen Utilities and Dining Room employeesBuffet style bulk cooking for Breakfast and Crib Lunch, or Dinner and DessertsEnsure OH&S; compliance, adhering to safe work practices and food handling proceduresEnsure all catering controls are in place, and wastage is kept to the minimumMaintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, infection control and cleanliness inaccordance with Compass standardsAssist Head Chefs in managing team performance and employee development
The Person
You will be a qualified Chef with a minimum Cert III in Commercial Cookery or Equivalent
Bulk catering or buffet experienceis essential.
You will have the ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.
Attention to detail and great time management is a must.




Excellent knowledge of all kitchen procedures and operations
Excellent knowledge of food safety and able to manage compliance.
