Junction Support Services was established with one goal in mind, to support vulnerable people in our community.Every day, our people work alongside children, young people, individuals and families, empowering brighter futures and building strong, thriving communities together.About The RoleAs the Team Manager – Homes First, you will lead a multidisciplinary team dedicated to creating lasting change for people experiencing homelessness.This is a unique opportunity to play a key leadership role in our Housing First pilot program, supporting individuals and families to secure safe, stable housing while improving their wellbeing and connection to community.Leading a team of skilled practitioners, you will foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and person centred practice.
Working closely with internal and external partners, you will guide high quality service delivery and help shape a program that is transforming homelessness support across regional Victoria.The Homes First program delivers flexible, wraparound, trauma-informed support grounded in Housing First principles — recognising that safe, secure housing is a fundamental human right and the foundation for recovery, independence, and long-term stability.This is a part-time permanent opportunity working ***** hours per fortnight, based in Shepparton.
The role will see you working collaboratively across our Wodonga, Wangaratta and Shepparton regions.What You Can ExpectIn the role, you will:Lead day-to-day service delivery and program implementationMentor and coach staff to deliver best-practice, client-centred supportEmbed Housing First principles across all practiceEnsure high-quality case management and positive client outcomesOversee program performance, reporting,
and compliance requirementsBuild strong relationships with housing services and community partnersContribute to strategic growth and continuous improvementAbout YouYou'll bring:A relevant tertiary qualification (Social Work, Psychology, Social Science or similar)Demonstrated leadership experience, including staff supervision and performance managementStrong knowledge of the homelessness and/or family violence sectorUnderstanding of Housing First and trauma-informed practiceExperience in case management frameworks and strengths-based approachesExcellent stakeholder engagement and communication skillsAbout UsJunction Support Services is an award-winning regional not-for-profit that has been empowering brighter futures for more than 35 years.
