From creating solutions for our clients to building careers for our people, we shape what matters, and that's where you come in.About the RoleOur Deal Advisory team is looking for a Manager to join our Value Creation Services (VCS) team in Sydney.Post-Merger Integration (PMI)Lead overall integration strategy and execution across functionsOwn synergy case development, validation, and executive sign-offAdvise client leadership on integration risks, trade-offs, and prioritiesLead steering committee discussions and executive updatesCarve-outs & SeparationsLead end-to-end separation engagementsDesign and validate standalone operating models and TSA frameworksOversee stranded cost strategy and executionManage complex, cross-functional separation programsDeal Execution & AdvisoryLead operational due diligence engagementsAdvise on deal value creation, risks, and execution strategyChallenge client and advisor assumptions with commercial insightIntegrate findings into investment decision-makingProject Leadership & Client OwnershipOwn full project delivery (scope, budget, resourcing, commercials)Lead teams (typically 3–6+) across multiple workstreamsAct as primary client contact for senior stakeholders (C-suite, PE)Manage escalations, governance, and decision-making forumsBusiness Development & GrowthLead proposals, pitches,



and client conversationsOriginate opportunities from existing and recent clientsBuild long-term client relationships and market presenceContribute to go-to-market strategy and thought leadershipTeam Leadership & Firm ContributionLine manage and develop Managers and junior staffDrive team capability building and recruitmentLead development of methodologies, tools, and IPContribute to broader Deal Advisory strategyAbout YouExtensive work experience in value creation within a professional services/corporate finance firm or background in another leading accounting or boutique advisory firm, private equity, investment banking or in industry corporate development roles.Track record in leading full engagements or major workstreams across PMI / carve-outs.CA and/or CFA qualifications or similar.Relevant degree or tertiary qualification.Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills.Strong research skills as well.M&A; strategy specific skills.Why BDO?
