Kat the Label is a Melbourne-born lingerie and sleepwear brand known for its feminine, size-inclusive designs and cult-favourite fit.
What started as a small, founder-led label has grown into a fast-moving DTC business trading across Australia, the US, and the UK, with a loyal community and a rapidly scaling ecommerce arm.
We're a close-knit, high-performing team based out of our Cremorne HQ, and we move quickly, back each other, and take pride in the product and the customer experience.ABOUT THE ROLEThe Ecommerce Coordinator is the engine room of our D2C business.
Reporting to the Ecommerce Growth Manager, you'll own the day-to-day execution of our Shopify storefronts across multiple markets - from product uploads and collection merchandising through to promotional mechanics, site health, and trade analysis.You're the person who makes sure every collection launch, sale, and campaign lands cleanly on site, on time, every time.
You move fast, finish things, and understand that every page is a commercial lever.WHAT YOU'LL OWNManage product placement, collection curation, and on-site navigation across AU, US, and UK Shopify storefronts to maximise conversion and revenue per sessionOwn product uploads, PDPs, imagery, tagging, and category merchandising - ensuring everything is brand correct, mobile-first, and conversion optimisedCoordinate in office updates for new product launches, partnering with brand, creative, and the wider marketing team to hit go-live datesPromotional ExecutionDeploy discounts, bundles, gift with purchase mechanics, and sitewide promotions accurately and on schedule across all storefrontsSet up and QA Shopify discount codes, automated promotions, and on-site banners in alignment with campaign T&CsSupport; the build and execution of key trading moments including EOFY, Black Friday, Boxing Day,
and seasonal campaignsUse Microsoft Clarity to analyse on-site behaviour, identify drop-off points across the funnel - homepage, PDPs, cart, checkout - and surface actionable fixesSupport the build and QA of A/B tests, translating results into clear recommendations and implemented changesRegularly audit funnel performance data via GA4, Shopify & ProfitPeak Analytics to identify conversion opportunities and flag anomaliesManage Shopify apps including Okendo, Back in Stock, Wishlist Co and other tools that support the on-site customer experienceSite Health & QAProactively audit storefronts for broken links, pricing errors, out-of-stock products, and content inconsistencies across marketsWork closely with the web developer to flag UX issues, test changes, and ensure a smooth customer experience at all timesLiaise with the SEO agency to implement on-site recommendations, ensuring technical and content updates are actioned accurately and on scheduleOwn daily, weekly, and monthly ecommerce trade reporting using relevant analytics toolsSurface what's working, what isn't, and what to change next - with clear commercial commentary,
not just dataContribute to weekly trading cadences alongside the Ecommerce Growth ManagerCross-Functional PartnershipWork closely with the CRM Coordinator to ensure on-site and CRM promotional mechanics are aligned across every campaignPartner with brand and creative to ensure all product presentation meets KTL's visual and tone standardsLiaise with customer care to resolve site issues that impact the customer experienceABOUT YOU2-3 years of hands-on experience in an ecommerce coordinator or assistant role, ideally within a DTC fashion or lifestyle brandStrong working knowledge of Shopify - confident with merchandising, discount configuration, metafields, and app managementComfortable with ecommerce analytics: GA4 and Shopify Analytics as a minimum; exposure to Triple Whale or similar is a bonusSharp eye for detail - you do not ship typos, broken links, or misaligned bannersStrong commercial instinct: you understand how ecommerce decisions translate to revenueAble to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-moving, campaign-heavy environmentWorking knowledge of Klaviyo or similar ESP tools is advantageousExperience across multiple storefronts or international markets is highly regardedBONUS POINTSExposure to Shopify theme editing including basic Liquid, HTML, and CSS - ability to action minor front-end updates without always relying on the web developer is a strong advantageHOW YOU'LL OPERATEYou take ownership end-to-end and don't wait to be told what's nextYou move fast without dropping quality - speed and precision are not a trade-off hereYou communicate clearly and flag issues earlyYou care about the brand and the customer experience as much as you care about the metricsWHAT WE OFFERAnnual Wardrobe AllowanceAdditional Women's Health LeaveWellness initiatives and EventsSummer Fridays - 3pm finish1 WFH dayOpportunities for professional development and growthA supportive, high-performing team culture in our Cremorne officeApplications must include a cover letter addressing why you're the best fit for this role.
