The role may transition to a rotating shift structure.Shift Pattern:This role operates day shift – Monday to Friday 7am -3:30pmYour responsibilities will include:Proactively demonstrate a personal commitment to safety and our PROTECT safety cultureComplete job specific permits, identify hazards,



and implement control measuresEfficient and effective fault finding to diagnose and repair plant outagesPrioritise jobs to achieve high plant availability in coordination with maintenance and production supervisorsComplete quality assurance testing and recordingReport all injuries, incidents, hazards, and near missesDevelop and maintain positive work relationships within the teamSupport and mentor apprenticesThe ideal candidate will possess the following skills/ experience:Current "A" Grade electrical licenceAppropriate trade certificationPrevious experience in a manufacturing and/or industrial environmentProcess control instrumentation and calibration experienceSound understanding/experience working with PLC's (Siemens, Allen Bradley)Use of maintenance systems e.g. MEXWhy Laminex:Join a long-term career with a recognised, iconic Australian manufacturerExclusive employee discounts on a range of products from Fletcher Building brandsCareer development and progression opportunities
