SCHS is seeking an accomplished communications professional who can find the story behind the information—and tell it in a way that informs, engages and inspires.
As our Communications and Content Lead, you will shape how SCHS communicates its purpose, services and impact.
Working across the organisation, you will uncover meaningful stories and translate complex health and service information into clear, compelling content for our community, workforce, partners and supporters.
This is a varied, hands-on role spanning executive communications, media content, publications, digital campaigns, impact stories and the SCHS Annual Report.
You will also create high-quality visual content, undertake photography, and produce professionally presented materials for digital and print channels.
Providing editorial and creative leadership across SCHS,
you will help strengthen community understanding, staff engagement, organisational reputation and stakeholder support.
You will bring strong editorial judgement, curiosity and strategic insight, supported by practical capability in visual and digital communication.
About you
You are an exceptional writer and thoughtful communicator who knows how to identify the central message, understand the audience and build a compelling narrative.
You can confidently interview people, draw out meaningful insights and transform complex information into accessible content.
You will bring:
Demonstrated experience in communications, journalism, public relations or content development.
Exceptional writing, editing and organisational storytelling skills.
Experience producing content across corporate, media, digital and print channels.
Strong editorial judgement and attention to detail.
Practical visual content, photography and digital production capability.
The confidence to work with executives, staff, clients and community partners.
