MTC has an exciting opportunity for a motivated Business Intelligence Analyst to join our IT Team located In our Head Office situated in Marrickville .
Reporting to the BI Manager, the Business Intelligence Analyst will design, develop, and maintain data solutions that enable actionable insights across the organisation.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
Develop and deliver reports, dashboards, and data visualisations using SQL, Excel, and Python
Analyse data to provide actionable insights into organisational performance
Support forecasting, trend analysis, and "what‐if" scenarios
Design, build, and maintain datasets to enable ongoing analytics and future AI initiatives
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate reporting requirements
Maintain and enhance data warehouse structures, datasets, and capabilities
Integrate and analyse data from internal systems and external data providers
Support and manage the existing portfolio of reports and dashboards
Contribute to the organisation-wide data and analytics strategy
Perform ad hoc analysis and other duties as required
About You
To succeed in this role, you will have:
Holds a Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field
At least 3 years' experience in data or business intelligence roles
Strong skills in SQL and working with databases
Confident Excel user for analysis and reporting
Experience building reports and dashboards using BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
Familiar with data integration and ETL processes
Experience working with Salesforce data and basic SOQL querying




Comfortable working with both cloud and on‐premise systems
Able to work with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
Strong problem‐solving and analytical skills
Communicates complex information clearly in plain English
Self‐motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently or as part of a team
