Create visually compelling graphics for various internal and external communications, includingpresentations, documentation infographics and promotional materials.Collaborate with professional print vendors to prepare, refine, and deliver pressready artwork that meetsproduction standards and brand quality.Collaborate with the team to develop and maintain consistent branding and visual identity across allmaterials.Assist in the design and layout of print, and digital assets.Develop and produce multimedia content for various platforms ensuring a high level of quality andcreativity.Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas for improving visual and userexperience elements.Support the redevelopment of online spaces by designing user friendly interfaces and content, enhancingthe overall user experience.Work closely with the Experience Designer to plan, wireframe, and prototype new features for onlineplatforms.Ensure all design work is aligned with the goals and adhere to brand guidelines.ESSENTIAL CRITERIAProven experience as a Graphic Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of design works.Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) andthe Microsoft Office suite (Word and PowerPoint).
Robust understanding of design principles, including typography, colour theory, and layout.Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment (at times).
Strong communication and collaboration skills.Hold a NV1 or higher Australian Government security clearance.DESIRABLE CRITERIAKnowledge of user experience (UX) design principles and best practices.Experience with wireframing and prototyping tools such as Figma.Understanding of responsive design and accessibility standards.Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and web development processes.Willingness to learn and develop user experience design skills.QUALIFICATIONS/TRAITSA minimum of 4+ years of experience working at a digital agency as a Graphic Designer or UI Designer.Portfolio of key projects delivered in past years, calling out your role on the project, deliverablesresponsible and successes achieved.Excellent communication skills (both in conversation and in writing) and a portfolio which demonstratesthis ability in various phases of design.Ability to work gracefully and have a bias for action in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment.Ability to drive the design review cycle and close on design requirements independently.Worked within collaborative, cross-functional teams to deliver multiple, successful projects.Ability to travel abroad.A sense of humour!
