Reporting to the Mould Shop Manager, this role is a part of the maintenance team for analysing specifications to assemble parts to make and repair dies with the use of machining and power tools.
This is a full time permanent position working day shift hours at our busy Glass plant in Penrith.
What You Will Do
Reading of blueprints and drawing specifications
Making parts to modify or repair mould gear
Machine operation of machining, power tools, and welding equipment
Quality assurance on completed works
Check and maintain stock levels of materials required
Adhere to all Work, Health & Safety policies, and procedures
What You Will Bring
Trade Qualified Fitter & Turner
Min. 3-4 years' experience or qualified 1st Class Machinist/Fitter
Computer literate with Microsoft Office and SAP
Excellent communication skills
Great work ethic
