You will experience and assist in the New Product Design (NPD) process from concept through to production.
We're looking for someone who is talented and keen to learn, hone their craft and is passionate about creating innovative products connecting us to the future.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESSupport the design and development of new products, from early concepts through to production-ready detail.Manage multiple projects with competing deadlines, keeping design data clean and accurately maintained.Produce prototypes using both rapid prototyping and hand-construction methods.Support design administration, maintaining design data in the company system, tracking product and sample development, and updating production documentation, tear and specification sheets, and installation and assembly guides.Collaborate with the operations team to help bring Australian-made product lines to life.Work alongside sales and marketing to produce product samples.Help organise and maintain the R&D; and production workshop, including prototypes, production parts, stock, and tools.QUALIFICATIONSA qualification in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related discipline (recently completed or near completion).
A portfolio demonstrating solid conceptual thinking, resolved outcomes,
and an eye for detail.Familiarity with 3D CAD and rendering software (e.g. SolidWorks, Keyshot).
Familiarity with 2D tools for documentation and presentation (Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop).
