We're looking for an experienced retail leader who is passionate about customer service and thrives in a hands-on environment.
This is a unique opportunity to combine the role of Customer Service Manager with Evening Duty Manager, leading our front-end team while ensuring the smooth and professional operation of the entire store during evening trade.

This is a full-time position offering long-term job security, a competitive hourly rate and the benefit of being paid for every hour you work.
Unlike salaried management roles, there is no time-in-lieu-all hours worked are paid.
The role includes 2-3 evening shifts per week, providing a balanced mix of daytime leadership and evening store management.
About the Role
As our Customer Service Manager, you'll lead the front-end team to deliver outstanding customer experiences every day.
During your evening shifts, you'll transition into the Duty Manager role, taking responsibility for the overall operation of the store,
supporting all departments and ensuring our high standards are maintained through to close.
This is a leadership position suited to someone who enjoys coaching people, solving problems, making decisions and leading by example.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and inspire the customer service and front-end team.
Create an exceptional shopping experience for every customer.
Recruit, train and develop team members.
Manage rostering, performance and team engagement.
Oversee cash handling, service desk operations and front-end procedures.
Act as Evening Duty Manager, taking responsibility for the entire store.
Coordinate with department managers to ensure excellent presentation, availability and service.
Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally and efficiently.
Ensure compliance with food safety, workplace safety and company procedures.
Maintain high standards of merchandising, cleanliness and store presentation.
About You
To be successful in this role, previous leadership experience in a supermarket is essential.
You will be a confident people leader who enjoys delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining high operational standards.
You'll also have:
Proven experience in supermarket retail management.
Previous Duty Manager or equivalent leadership experience.
Strong leadership and people management ability.
Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
Confidence making decisions and managing store operations independently.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
A hands-on approach with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Flexibility to work 2-3 evening shifts per week, including one weekend evening.
