With a strong focus on food safety and continuous improvement, they've built a reputation for operational excellence and are looking to strengthen their Quality team.The RoleReporting to the Quality Manager, this hands-on role is responsible for monitoring and maintaining product quality and food safety standards across the production process.
You'll work closely with production, warehouse, and technical teams to ensure compliance with quality specifications, food safety regulations, and customer requirements.Key responsibilities include:Conducting quality checks and inspections across raw materials, in-process production, and finished goodsMonitoring compliance with HACCP, food safety, and quality management systemsRecording and reporting quality data, non-conformances, and corrective actionsSupporting internal and external audits (e.g. SQF, BRC,



or customer audits)Working with production teams to troubleshoot quality issues and drive continuous improvementMaintaining accurate documentation and traceability recordsAssisting with product testing, sampling, and shelf-life trials as requiredYour BackgroundPrevious experience in a Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or Food Technology role within food manufacturingSolid understanding of HACCP, food safety principles, and quality management systemsExperience supporting audits (SQF, BRC, or similar) is highly regardedStrong attention to detail and a methodical, hands-on approach to problem-solvingGood communication skills, with the ability to work closely with production and technical teamsComfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing workplace, including some flexibility around shift times if requiredRelevant qualifications in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field are desirable but not essentialWhat's on OfferThis is a great role for someone looking to build their career in quality within a supportive team environment that values food safety and continuous improvement.
