About the Role
This is more than a support role; it is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
You will work alongside clients in their homes and communities, providing individualised support that respects their unique goals, preferences, culture, and needs.
Our clients are located throughout Melbourne's northern suburbs, including:
CraigieburnGreenvaleBroadmeadowsGlenroyBrunswickAirport WestCoburgSurrounding areas
Travel between client locations may be required during shifts.
How You'll Make a Difference
Every client is unique, and you will tailor your support to each person's individual goals, preferences, and needs.
You will:
Support clients to maintain their independence at home and in the communityEncourage choice, dignity,



and active participation in everyday lifeBuild genuine and trusting relationshipsAssist clients to work towards their personal goalsProvide social and emotional supportSupport community participation and social inclusionAssist with personal care and daily living activities when requiredHelp with meal preparation, domestic assistance, and transport to appointments and activitiesDeliver services in accordance with individual support plans
About You
You are someone who:
Treats every person with respect, compassion, and empathyValues dignity, choice, and independenceEnjoys building meaningful relationshipsCommunicates positively and professionallyTakes pride in delivering high-quality supportIs reliable, adaptable, and committed to making a positive difference
You will also have:
Minimum 6 months' experience in Disability Support, Aged Care, Home Care, Community Care, or a similar roleThe ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative teamA genuine passion for supporting people to achieve their goals

Essential Requirements
Current Australian Driver's LicenceReliable vehicle with comprehensive insuranceCurrent NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain)Current COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinationsAustralian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or unrestricted working rights in Australia
Desirable
Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care, or a related qualification
