The RoleWe're on the lookout for a BMS Controls Technician to join our Greater Sydney team full-time and on-site.
You'll install, commission and maintain BMS and control equipment across commercial and industrial facilities including diagnosing faults, running preventive maintenance and calibrating sensors and instrumentation.Day to day you'll read electrical drawings and control schematics,
configure and test field devices and controllers and keep clear documentation aligned with company and client standards.
You'll work closely with project engineers, site managers and clients to keep systems running efficiently, comfortably and reliably, all while keeping safety and compliance front of mind.What You'll BringStrong troubleshooting skills across BMS, control systems and building services faultsExperience in preventive maintenance of BMS hardware, control panels and field devicesPractical knowledge of instrumentation and calibration for sensors, transmitters and actuatorsA solid grasp of electrical fundamentals including secure work practices, wiring and schematic readingFamiliarity with HVAC and building automation systems including BACnet or similar protocolsStrong communication skills and the confidence to work safely on live construction or operational sitesA trade qualification, diploma or degree in electrical, instrumentation, mechatronics or building services engineering (highly desirable)Prior experience in BMS, building automation or controls within commercial or industrial settings (a plus)
