We are currently seeking OOSH Assistants and Educators who are also willing to be a Responsible Person to join the teams at several of our successful and well-established services across the Maitland and Cessnock Regions.
These opportunities will be offered on a permanent part-time basis, working across our before and after school programs and vacation care programs.
The locations include Maitland, Cessnock, Abermain and Branxton.
You must be available to work afternoon shifts at least twice a week.
As an OOSH Educator / Assistant and Responsible person, you will be responsible for:
Supervising children's play, ensuring their physical safety while promoting and guiding positive behaviour




Assisting the developing and implementing programs that offer a diverse range of experiences to promote children's independence, social skills, learning, and development.
Desired Skills and Experience
EXPERIENCE/CRITERIA
Computer literacy in order to document examples of learning stories
Experience in an OOSH service(desirable)
QUALIFICATIONS
Certificate III in Children's Services or Certificate IV in School Age Education as identified by Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority or be studying towards and early childhood or Primary Teaching qualification
Working with Children Check verification number
Current First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training (desirable)
