Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager - Earthworks to join our team and play a key role in delivering major civil infrastructure projects. This is an opportunity for a driven Project Manager with strong earthworks experience to lead project delivery, manage high‑performing teams and achieve outstanding safety, commercial and program outcomes.

Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will be responsible for the successful management and coordination of earthworks activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule and in line with contractual requirements.

About the Role

- Leading the planning, coordination and delivery of major earthworks packages
- Managing project programs, resources, subcontractors and construction teams
- Driving productivity, cost control and commercial outcomes across projects
- Managing project risks, variations, claims and contractual obligations
- Building strong relationships with clients,



stakeholders and project teams
- Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards
- Providing leadership, mentoring and support to Project Engineers, Site Engineers and Supervisors

About the Candidate

- Proven experience delivering major civil infrastructure projects ($10M+)
- Solid background managing earthworks, bulk excavation, ground improvement or large‑scale civil packages
- Experience leading project teams and managing subcontractor delivery
- Sound understanding of construction contracts, project controls and commercial management
- Strong knowledge of safety, quality and environmental requirements
- Civil Engineering qualification or equivalent construction experience
- Ability to manage competing priorities while delivering successful project outcomes
