Talent Acquisition Partner

Contract to 31 December 2026 | Potential for Extension

Remote or Hybrid – Brisbane or Sydney

Are you an experienced Talent Acquisition Partner with a background recruiting within defence, engineering or complex technical environments? This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing internal Talent Acquisition team supporting major national programs and critical workforce delivery across Australia.

Working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, you'll partner closely with hiring leaders to recruit highly specialised professionals across Defence, Engineering, Cyber Security, Software Development, IT and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS).

The Opportunity Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, you'll manage a portfolio of approximately 25–30 vacancies at any one time, delivering end-to-end recruitment while acting as a trusted advisor to hiring managers.

This role is initially contracted through to 31 December 2026, with strong potential for extension due to ongoing workforce demand.

The organisation offers excellent flexibility, with the option to work fully remotely, or in a hybrid arrangement from offices located in Brisbane or Sydney.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage full end-to-end recruitment across technical and specialist portfolios
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop recruitment strategies
- Recruit across Defence, Engineering, Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), Cyber Security, Software Development and other technical disciplines
- Source and engage high-calibre candidates through proactive search, networking and talent pipelines
- Screen candidates,



conduct interviews and manage assessment and selection processes
- Manage recruitment activity through Workday and maintain accurate candidate records
- Develop talent pipelines for future workforce requirements
- Provide exceptional candidate and hiring manager experiences throughout the recruitment lifecycle
- Support employer branding initiatives, recruitment marketing and workforce planning activities
- Ensure recruitment processes comply with organisational governance and employment legislation

About You You'll be an experienced internal recruiter who enjoys partnering with stakeholders and recruiting for complex, technical positions.

You'll bring:

- Demonstrated experience recruiting within Defence, Engineering or similarly complex technical environments (essential)
- Strong understanding of Defence-related positions including Engineering, Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), Cyber Security, Software Development or IT
- Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment across multiple concurrent vacancies
- Experience working within an internal Talent Acquisition function
- Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills
- Experience using ATS platforms such as Workday or similar HR systems
- Excellent sourcing capability across Linked In and other talent channels
- Outstanding communication, organisation and relationship-building skills




- Experience working within a global organisation or supporting APAC recruitment will be highly regarded
