An established commercial head contractor is seeking an experienced No.1 Site Manager to deliver a current $6M, two-storey government services facility located on the NSW Far North Coast.

This is a genuine start-to-finish opportunity, suited to a hands-on Site Manager who enjoys taking ownership of projects, driving subcontractors, and maintaining strong site safety, quality and programme outcomes.

The Role

- No.1 Site Manager reporting directly to the Project Manager
- Deliver a new greenfield commercial project from site establishment through to handover
- 10-month contract with a mid-August commencement
- Coordinate all site activities, subcontractors and day-to-day programme delivery
- Drive quality, safety and productivity across all stages of construction

Requirements

- Proven experience as a No.1 Site Manager on commercial or government projects valued at $5M+
- Strong new build experience from early works through to practical completion
- Confident managing two-week look-ahead programmes and daily site coordination




- Proficient using construction management software including Procore, Breadcrumb or similar project management platforms
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong commitment to WHS, quality and programme delivery

Key Responsibilities

- Manage all day-to-day site operations and subcontractor performance
- Coordinate trades in accordance with programme milestones
- Conduct daily pre-starts, toolbox talks and site inspections
- Monitor safety, quality and compliance across the project
- Maintain accurate site records, reporting and project documentation
- Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure successful project delivery
