Lead Bridge Engineer

What you’ll do

- Lead the planning, design, and delivery of bridge and civil structures projects, providing technical leadership and ensuring engineering excellence throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide technical leadership for bridge and structural engineering projects, ensuring safe, compliant, innovative, and commercially sound design outcomes.
- Lead the successful delivery of multidisciplinary projects, managing scope, resources, programme, budget, quality, and risk.
- Build robust client relationships, provide trusted technical advice, and support business development through proposals, tenders, and industry engagement.
- Lead, mentor, and develop engineers and technical professionals, fostering collaboration, capability growth, and a high-performance culture.
- Manage project performance, governance, compliance,



and technical and commercial risk to achieve successful project outcomes.
- Champion safety, sustainability, and resilience principles across project delivery and engineering solutions.

What you’ll bring

- Relevant Civil/Structural engineering qualifications and extensive bridge design and structural engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of Australian bridge standards and road authority requirements.
- CPEng or equivalent professional registration.
- Proven leadership, stakeholder management, and project delivery capability.
- Commercial, technical, and problem-solving expertise.
- BIM and digital engineering experience desirable.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.
