We're partnering with a leading enterprise IT consulting organization to hire a Principal Dev Ops Engineer to lead large-scale, cloud-native infrastructure initiatives across Australia and New Zealand.

This role sits at the heart of a high-throughput platform environment—routing thousands of customer interactions daily, executing millions of API and monitoring calls, and orchestrating petabytes of data across hybrid and multi-cloud systems.

Reliability isn't optional—it's mission-critical.

As Principal Dev Ops Engineer, you will architect and lead the evolution of up-to-date infrastructure platforms, enabling engineering teams to deploy faster, operate safely, and scale confidently.

Key Responsibilities

- Architect multi-region, multi-cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Cloud Formation, or similar).
- Lead CI/CD strategy and platform modernization, supporting frequent, safe production deployments.
- Drive observability and reliability practices, including SLOs, monitoring strategy, and incident response maturity.




- Mentor and lead a distributed Dev Ops team across Australia and New Zealand.
- Optimize cost, performance, and scalability across AWS, GCP, and/or Azure.
- Embed security and compliance controls aligned to enterprise and regulatory standards.

What We're Looking For

- For 6+ years' experience in Dev Ops or Infrastructure Engineering within complex production environments.
- Deep expertise in AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Strong hands-on Infrastructure-as-Code experience.
- Production Kubernetes and container orchestration experience.
- Demonstrated technical leadership and strong architectural thinking.
- Commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement.
