A leading organisation within the renewable energy sector is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to support the delivery of large-scale renewable energy and electrical infrastructure projects across Queensland.

This role will be responsible for leading all onsite construction activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, within budget and to the required quality standards. Working closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, clients and site teams, the successful candidate will play a key role in the successful delivery of renewable energy developments including solar, wind, BESS and associated electrical infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage all onsite construction activities from mobilisation through to project completion.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and in accordance with contractual requirements.
- Coordinate site-based construction teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all WHS legislation, project procedures and client requirements.
- Oversee daily construction operations, site planning and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions where required.
- Manage construction schedules and support the achievement of key project milestone's.
- Coordinate interfaces between civil, electrical,



mechanical and commissioning teams.
- Conduct regular site inspections, toolbox meetings and project reviews.
- Ensure quality assurance requirements are met and project documentation is maintained.
- Manage stakeholder relationships including clients, consultants, landowners and regulatory authorities.
- Identify, assess and mitigate construction risks.
- Support procurement, logistics and material management activities.
- Provide regular reporting on project performance, progress, safety and commercial outcomes.

Key Requirements

- Demonstrated experience in a Construction Manager position delivering large-scale renewable energy or electrical infrastructure projects.
- Strong background managing multidisciplinary construction teams and subcontractors.
- Experience overseeing complex civil and electrical construction scopes.
- Proven ability to manage project schedules, budgets and construction programmes.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, risk management and project controls.
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work within quick-paced project environments and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline (Preferred but not essential).
