We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Commercial Manager to join our dynamic team in Airport West, Victoria. This is a critical leadership role for a hands‐on, proactive finance leader who thrives on influencing outcomes, building robust relationships, and driving business performance, reporting directly to the Managing Director with a dotted-line relationship to the Group CFO.

What you'll be doing

- Providing strategic financial leadership and support to the business divisions, ensuring alignment with the overall organisational goals
- Drive performance through proactive business partnering, identifying risks, opportunities and actionable solutions
- Analysing financial and operational data to identify opportunities for improved efficiency and profitability
- Track financial performance, including revenue, margins and cost drivers
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective financial strategies
- Lead and oversee month-end reporting across multiple entities (P&L;, WIP, balance sheet, KPIs and cash flow)
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of financial processes and controls
- Mentoring and developing the finance team to build a high‐performing, customer‐focused function
- Negotiating and managing complex commercial agreements and contracts
- Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations and internal policies





What we're looking for

- CA/CPA qualified with demonstrated experience in a senior finance leadership role
- Extensive experience in commercial contracting, corporate structuring and regulatory compliance
- A natural leader and driver, proactive, accountable and outcome-focused
- Proven ability to provide pragmatic, commercially focused legal and strategic advice to operational staff and senior stakeholders
- Confident communicator who is comfortable challenging and engaging leadership teams directly
- Proven problem‐solving capability, able to identify issues, assess impact and implement practical solutions
- Strong people leadership experience, with the ability to mentor, develop and inspire teams
- Hands‐on, adaptable and comfortable operating in a fast‐paced environment
- High level of initiative and ability to work independently
