About the role
Our Client Experience Branch manages systems and processes that enable a positive and inclusive student experience that supports student wellbeing and successful student outcomes. Within this context, the College is committed to supporting Aboriginal students on their training journey.
The Manager Aboriginal Strategy & Partnerships leads the planning, implementation and monitoring of initiatives to grow the Aboriginal VET workforce, enhance cultural competency across College staff, establish and maintain relevant partnerships and embed culturally protected practices and systems across the organisation.
To be successful in this role you will have shown you can build connections and sustain relationships across organisations and within communities and have experience in implementing policy and strategy and can evaluate project outcomes. You will also be a capable leader who has led significant initiatives and/or projects, and you have been able to positively influence change and have a high level of communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across diverse groups of people and gain consensus outcomes.
Suitability Requirements and Eligibility

To be considered eligible for employment, you must possess current and valid Australian work rights, such as Australian citizenship, permanent residency or an appropriate working visa. Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
You must also hold, or have the ability to obtain,
a Department of Education Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and a Working with Children (WWC) Card. Appointment will be subject to the satisfactory completion of any mandatory pre-employment screening requirements.
