About the Team

The Division of External Engagement and Partnerships focuses on strengthening collaboration with industry, government and the community, with functions including enterprise learning and industry partnerships. Industry Skills and Learning sits within External Engagement and Partnerships and supports the delivery of industry-facing educational and training activities, such as bespoke and modular enterprise learning programs and short-form professional and executive education, in collaboration with partners and faculties.

Job Purpose

This role develops and executes the university's industry skills and learning strategy to support growth, industry value and alignment with teaching and research strengths. It contributes to positioning enterprise learning and short-form professional education as a core and growing university activity.

Detailed Description

Role Responsibilities

Develop and implement enterprise learning strategy, business models and operational frameworks.

Shape product, content,



pricing and market approach for enterprise learning offerings.

Lead and support a team delivering enterprise learning design, platforms and services.

Collaborate with faculties and partners to build a pipeline of enterprise learning. opportunities.

Support development of technology platforms and external partnerships for delivery.

Contribute to continuous improvement in content, delivery and academic capability.

Support university strategy discussions on industry skills and learning needs.

Skills, Attributes and Knowledge

Strategic leadership and commercial acumen.

Strong product and content strategy capability.

Team leadership and performance management skills.

Stakeholder engagement and influencing capability.

Understanding of enterprise learning markets and skills trends.

Financial and operational management capability.

Knowledge of enterprise learning strategy and higher education context.

Experience

Experience in a senior academic, educational or learning leadership role.

Track record of driving change and engaging stakeholders.

Experience in curriculum design and implementation.

Experience building and managing a high-performance team staff to deliver collaborative outcomes.

Experience in international educational environments.

Qualifications

Appropriate postgraduate academic qualifications or equivalent experience.

Remuneration/Salary

What We Offer

Base Salary Range: SSG2 plus 17% superannuation (pension)

The position is full time and will be made on a continuing basis.
