Are you an experienced Senior System Administrator looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT professional to play a critical role in supporting, enhancing, and optimising Windows, SQL Server, and web server platforms. In this dynamic role, you will lead technology upgrades, drive infrastructure automation, and help shape cloud hosting capabilities within a collaborative environment.
What You Will Do:
Perform operational system administration, provisioning, configuration, and monitoring across Windows Server, SQL Server, IIS, and Active Directory.
Develop and maintain scripts using PowerShell, Azure Runbooks, Terraform, and GitHub Actions for automation and configuration tasks.
Lead and drive key technical projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and current technology implementations.
Proactively identify and implement system improvements to enhance overall performance, reliability, and security.
Provide technical mentorship, guidance, and procedural documentation to support and upskill team members.
What You Need to Apply for This Role:
Demonstrated hands-on experience managing and supporting Windows operating systems and SQL Server platforms.
Advanced scripting abilities using PowerShell in a Windows environment for automation, data collection,
and configuration changes.
Proven experience using GitHub for script storage and version control.
Strong organisational, time management, and structured problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
Familiarity with Azure or AWS cloud platforms and DevOps methodologies (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, Git workflows).
