The Corporate Print Group t/a Kwik Kopy Printing – Wynyard, is an established commercial print, design, and visual communications business based in Sydney. We specialize in design and print, transforming corporate briefs into large-format displays, visual branding assets and packaging. As our production facility expands, we are seeking an experienced, full-time Senior Corporate & Commercial Illustrator to join our creative and production team.

About the Role

The Senior Corporate Illustrator is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and executing original hand-crafted and digital illustrations for a broad range of corporate, marketing, branding, packaging, and commercial print applications. This role combines advanced creative illustration expertise with intricate pre-press production knowledge, converting abstract client briefs and data narratives into highly scalable, unique visual art optimized for physical substrates and digital media.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

- Original Artwork Generation: Conceptualize, research, sketch, and produce original freehand and high-resolution digital illustrations for corporate communications, marketing campaigns, commercial print, and product packaging.
- Concept Evolution: Interpret creative briefs and client requirements to develop innovative visual concepts, storyboards, character designs, and multiple artistic directions for corporate stakeholders.
- Bespoke Vector & Brand Art: Design proprietary vector artwork, custom icon libraries, branding symbols, hand-lettered typography,



and patterns to maintain corporate and client brand identities.
- Advanced Digital Rendering: Produce complex digital artwork utilizing high-end digital drawing interfaces and professional software including Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and related vector path applications.
- Technical Diagramming & Infographics: Create detailed technical illustrations, instructional graphics, exploded-view diagrams, and visually engaging custom infographics/data visualizations from raw corporate data.
- Print-Ready Engineering: Prepare, format, scale, and optimize illustration vector files to meet strict commercial printing specifications. Ensure precise colour reproduction (Pantone spot colours), vector line integrity, complex gradient maps, and high resolution across diverse substrates (packaging, textiles, signage, and fine art papers).
- Production Collaboration: Review, revise, and refine artwork layouts based on stakeholder and pre-press team feedback while maintaining rigid technical accuracy and brand consistency.
- Asset Management: Maintain and archive highly organized digital asset libraries, ensuring all original illustration files are accurately version-controlled.





Key Skills & Attributes Required

- Industry Experience: A minimum of 5 years of documented professional industry experience executing commercial illustration, hand-drawn/digital drawing, and technical vector creation within a digital print, production, or commercial design environment.
- Technical Mastery: Advanced, skilled proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop) on PC and design tablet platforms. Extensive understanding of pre-press standards and spot-color workflows is mandatory.
- Communication & Focus: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to interpret customer briefs and collaborate seamlessly within a tight production timeline.
- Organization: Exceptional attention to detail, strong time-management capabilities, and a proven track record of delivering creative visual assets accurately under strict deadlines.

Qualifications

- A formal qualification (Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma) focused on Fine Arts, Visual Communication, Graphic Design, or Illustration.
- In the absence of a formal degree, a minimum of 5 years of highly relevant, senior-level industry experience as a professional illustrator may be considered.
