At Vector Technologies, we design and manufacture innovative medical devices for leading global healthcare companies. We're looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our growing team and help bring recent products from concept to production while improving manufacturing performance.
This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career engineer to build a career in advanced manufacturing, New Product Introduction (NPI) and process improvement.Working alongside our Senior NPI Quality Engineer, you'll be mentored through real-world engineering challenges, new product launches and continuous improvement projects. From day one, you'll be encouraged to take ownership, build your technical capability and make a meaningful contribution.You'll play a key role in solving real manufacturing challenges and helping deliver products that improve people's lives. What You'll DoSupport root cause investigations and corrective actions.Collaborate with Engineering and Production to resolve manufacturing and quality issues.Analyse production data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.Support New Product Introduction (NPI), including engineering builds and process development.Assist with PFMEAs,
Process Control Plans and manufacturing documentation.Support SPC, MSA and process capability studies.Participate in Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.Help develop robust manufacturing processes that consistently deliver high-quality products.
Who We're Looking ForNaturally curious with a strong mechanical aptitude.Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial or Mechatronic Engineering.Graduate or up to 3 years' experience in Manufacturing, Process or Quality Engineering.Manufacturing exposure through internships, placements or university projects (graduates encouraged to apply).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Structured approach to investigations and root cause analysis.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Eager to learn and continuously improve.Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, PFMEA or 8D is an advantage, but not essential.
