We are seeking an experienced Structural BMW Supervisor with a minimum of 5 years' supervisory experience and a strong trade background in structural steel, mechanical, boilermaking, welding, or related construction disciplines.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising structural, mechanical, Boilermaking, and welding (BMW) activities to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and quality requirements.
This role is an ongoing opportunity assisting on an upcoming shutdown, transitioning to a dayshift 8:6 roster FIFO ex Perth.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate Structural BMW activities across fabrication, installation, maintenance, and construction projects.
- Coordinate labour, equipment, materials, and subcontractors to meet project schedules and deliverables.
- Conduct quality inspections and verify completed works meet client and project requirements.
- Ensure all activities are undertaken in accordance with site safety systems, permits, risk assessments, and company procedures.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, clients, to ensure effective project execution.
- Prepare and maintain daily reports, progress updates, and project documentation.
Essential Requirements
- Recognized trade qualification in Boilermaking, Metal Fabrication.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a Structural BMW Supervisory role.
- Demonstrated experience supervising structural steel, mechanical, Boilermaking, and welding works.
- Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
- Thorough understanding of quality assurance, inspection requirements, and construction standards.
- Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Robust commitment to safety and continuous improvement
- Current S26 qualification
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
- Provide a National Police Clearance within 12 months or willing to obtain
- Contactable work references within the last 12 months
