We are looking for an experienced team member for a full time position.

Our ideal candidate will be a Dental Receptionist who also has Dental Assisting experience.

About us:

We are a general dental practice and have been established for over 50 years. We employ a mix of permanent and casual/part time staff - some who have been here long term and some who have joined us more recently.

We have 4 dentists (two part timers) and 3 hygienists/OHTs, and we operate 5 days per week including some evenings - no weekend work. The role includes different start/finish times depending on the day of the week, and full-time staff enjoy a half-day off each week.

Staff meetings, training sessions and attendance at continuing education seminars are provided on a regular basis throughout the year. We are proudly an accredited practice.

About you:

For this position,



we prefer a candidate with a minimum of 1 year of dental reception experience, and who has also worked as a dental assistant. We pay above award rates. Australian work authorisation is required for this position.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills, and also work collaboratively with our staff members. You will spend most of your time at reception desk initially, and will be introduced to dental assistant tasks over time. Start and finish times will be mutually planned to suit your personal needs, as well as the practice's requirements.

The candidate will also be able to:

- identify and rectify any day to day issues

- greet and communicate professionally with patients

- follow existing systems carefully
