Primary Duties

Oversee the technical scope, feasibility, design, and assembly - ensuring the project remains in scope, and quality and safety standards are met. Providing feedback and alignment to senior leaders, and ensuring continuous business and process improvement/s.Prepare and review project documentation, reports, and quality recordsAct as the prime technical conduit within the Engineering and at times other stakeholders within the rest of the business (programs, supply, security, finance).Develop and implement strategies that maximise project success.Work collaboratively within a project team, providing and maintaining key relationships between engineering disciplines, and broader business units.

Key Responsibilities





Crucial role in planning and delivery of multi-disciplinary projectsCo-ordinate the engineering tasks and body of work.Lead projects to plan and lead project decision-making processes.Perform project assessment and control.Provide technical support to site teamsManage risks arising from Engineering and/or impacting Engineering.Manage Configuration Baselines and ensure deliver of appropriate Technical Data to customers, both internally and as required externally in co-ordination with the project manager (programs).

Experience

8 years proven experience in a Senior Engineering position.Knowledge and understanding of the Product Life CycleExperience of the Australian Defence technical regulation frameworks and standardsProven experience in the project/program execution within the ASDEFCON framework.A Bachelors or Post Graduate Degree within an Engineering Discipline.
