As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Estimator / Contracts Manager to join our team and play a key role in delivering outstanding residential projects from concept through to completion.

Role Description

- This is a pivotal role within our business, combining estimating, contract administration, cost control, and project support across the full project lifecycle.

- Working closely with our sales, design, selections, construction, supplier and subcontractor personell, you will ensure projects are accurately costed, commercially managed, and positioned for successful delivery.

- This opportunity would suit someone who enjoys both the technical and commercial aspects of residential construction and takes pride in delivering accurate, organised and systemised work.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed construction estimates and cost plans

- Develop pricing from pre-construction scopes and design documentation

- Review estimates against client requirements and project specifications

- Maintain supplier and subcontractor pricing schedules

- Analyse estimate versus actual project costs and identify trends

- Support the preparation of client proposals and contract documentation

- Review contracts and project documentation prior to signing

- Manage project variations in accordance with contract requirements

- Report on estimating pipeline and conversion metrics





- Ensure tender submissions and deadlines are met

- Support project handover to the construction team

- Contribute to continuous improvement of estimating systems and processes

About You

You are commercially minded, detail-oriented, and highly organised. You enjoy working collaboratively with a broad range of stakeholders and have a strong understanding of residential construction and project costing.

Essential Skills & Experience

- 3–5+ years estimating experience within Australian residential construction, or equivalent site-based experience

- Strong understanding of residential building methods, contracts and costing principles

- Experience with Wunderbuild (or similar construction management software) highly regarded

- Relevant Australian building, construction, engineering or trade qualifications preferred

Desirables

- Experience in custom homes, renovations, or medium-density residential projects highly regarded.

- Ability to communicate professionally with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and project teams

- A passion for building better
