About The RoleWorking within a federal government client's procurement and finance functions, you will provide expert procurement advice and hands-on delivery across the full procurement lifecycle, helping stakeholders reach compliant, effective and value-for-money outcomes under the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs) and the PGPA Act.What you'll do:Provide strategic and operational procurement advice to business areasDevelop and review procurement documentation: procurement plans, approach-to-market packs, evaluation plans and reports, value-for-money assessments, work orders and contractsSupport end-to-end procurement, from market approach and supplier engagement through to evaluation and negotiationEstablish and manage contracts,



including performance monitoring, administration and variationsIdentify, assess and manage procurement and contractual riskSupport procurement reporting, compliance and continuous improvementContribute to capability uplift through guidance, knowledge transfer and trainingEngage internal and external stakeholders to move outcomes forwardWhat you'll bring:Demonstrated experience in Australian Government (Commonwealth) procurement and contract managementSound working knowledge of the Commonwealth Procurement Rules, the PGPA Act and related frameworksConfident drafting of procurement and contract documentation, with robust attention to detailClear communication and the judgement to give practical advice under time pressureA collaborative approach and a track record of reliable, high-quality deliveryEligibility:Australian citizenship (required to hold a security clearance)A current Baseline security clearance, or eligibility and willingness to obtain oneBased in Canberra, ACT (hybrid)What we offer:Meaningful work on projects essential to Australia's sovereign capabilityA genuine people-first culture where your judgement carries weightA personal training and development budget, and real room to growA firm that champions veterans and reservists
