Your New Role!
As a Sport Programs Delivery Officer, you'll play a key role in delivering inclusive sport, recreation and physical activity programs that empower people of all ages and abilities to connect, participate and thrive. Working across schools, kindergartens and community settings, you'll create fun, safe and engaging experiences through programs such as Parallel Sports, Mini Movers and Power to Pedal.
No two days are the same—you'll be supporting participants to build confidence, develop skills and experience the benefits of inclusive recreation, while working alongside a passionate and supportive team committed to making a positive difference in the community.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Experience delivering sport, recreation, physical activity or community-based programs
- A genuine passion for inclusion and supporting people of all abilities to participate and thrive
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with participants, families, schools and community partners
- The ability to create safe, welcoming and inclusive environments where everyone feels valued and encouraged
- Confidence working both independently and collaboratively within a supportive team environment
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prepare equipment, follow program plans and complete program documentation accurately
- A proactive approach to health, safety and child safety, with a commitment to following organisational policies and procedures
- Previous experience working with people with disability and/or people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds (desirable)
- A positive, enthusiastic and adaptable attitude, with a willingness to travel across program locations as required
- A current NDIS Worker Screening check, a current Working With Children Check - Employee (or willingness to obtain)
- A current Victorian drivers licence and roadworthy vehicle
- Evidence of at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccination
