Business Analyst – Teaching & Learning Platform

We're seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a higher education institution on a part-time basis, supporting a key initiative across their teaching and learning platform.This is an excellent chance to play a key role in analysing system data and processes, designing data flows, and developing user-facing documentation within a complex, multi-stakeholder higher education environment.

THE ROLE:
Working closely with stakeholders across the teaching and learning environment, you will support the analysis, documentation, and improvement of systems and processes, ensuring clear, practical outputs for end users and effective delivery of project outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
Analyse and document system data and business processes across the teaching and learning platformDesign and produce data flow diagrams to support process understanding and system improvementsDevelop Quick Reference Guides (QRGs)



and other end-user documentationConduct business process modelling and mapping to support current and future state analysisWork closely with stakeholders across the teaching and learning environment to gather, validate, and document requirementsSupport the delivery of clear, practical documentation to enable adoption and understanding across the user base

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst working across systems, data, and process improvementProven ability to design data flow diagrams and process mapsExperience developing QRGs and end-user documentationStrong background in business process modellingPrior experience within a higher education or tertiary setting highly preferableStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work across technical and non-technical audiencesComfortable working on-site 3 days per week
