About the Role
Sands Fridge Lines is seeking a motivated and capable HR Advisor to join our HR team in Forrestfield. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will partner with leaders and employees across the business, providing hands-on HR and Industrial Relations support in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide advice and guidance to leaders on HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation
- Support employees with general HR enquiries
- Assist with employee relations matters, including absenteeism, performance management, disciplinary issues, and grievance resolution
- Support managers with performance reviews and appraisal processes
- Coordinate HR programs such as training, development, and engagement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with Fair Work legislation and relevant regulations
- Update and maintain HR policies and procedures
- Prepare employment contracts, performance and disciplinary documentation
- Coordinate onboarding, new starter paperwork, and system setup
- Maintain accurate HR records within HR systems (UKG & Kronos)
- Provide support to the Recruitment team as needed
Requirements
About You
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
- 3+ years’ experience in a generalist HR role
- Strong understanding of Australian employment law and HR best practices
- Experience using HR systems (UKG highly regarded)
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Strong written communication skills for policy and documentation preparation
- Confident interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
- High level of discretion and confidentiality
- Proactive, self-motivated, and a strong team player
