Role Description The Electrical Estimator is a full-time role based in O’Connor, WA, with flexibility for some work from home. This role is responsible for reviewing project documentation, preparing detailed electrical estimates, and developing accurate cost proposals for a variety of electrical and instrumentation projects.
Day-to-day tasks include analysis of drawings and specifications, obtaining and evaluating supplier and subcontractor quotations, and ensuring estimates align with project scope, safety standards, and client requirements.
The Electrical Estimator will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and the contracting team to support bid submissions,



facilitating tender deliverables including plans, schedules and other client requirements. The role also involves maintaining estimating tools and databases, participating in tender reviews, and supporting continuous improvement in estimating processes.Qualifications Strong skills in Electrical Estimating and Cost Control, with experience preparing detailed bids and managing project budgets.Knowledge of Electrical Contracting and Electricity systems, including familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements.Background in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.Proficiency with estimating software, spreadsheets, and project management tools.Relevant trade qualification or degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or similar field.Experience in industrial, commercial, or resource sector electrical projects in Western Australia is advantageous.Strong analytical, numeracy, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and engage with clients and suppliers.Commitment to safety, quality, and inclusive work practices, with an appreciation for Aboriginal-owned business values.
