Are you an experienced Senior Accountant looking for the flexibility of a fully remote role while continuing to work with a diverse portfolio of clients and a supportive leadership team?

We are partnering with a growing boutique accounting firm that is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team. This is a fully remote opportunity for an experienced accounting professional based in Sydney, offering the autonomy to manage your own portfolio while working closely with Partners and a team-oriented team.

The Role

- Manage a portfolio of SME clients across a variety of industries.
- Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships.
- Prepare and review BAS, IAS and other compliance requirements.
- Provide proactive tax advice and business advisory support.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients as their key point of contact.
- Identify opportunities to add value through planning and advisory services.
- Assist with complex accounting and taxation matters.
- Mentor and support junior team members where required.




- Work autonomously while remaining connected with the wider team.

About You

- 5+ years' experience in Australian public practice accounting and CA/CPA qualified
- Strong experience across Business Services and Tax.
- Confident managing your own client portfolio.
- Strong technical knowledge of Australian accounting and taxation requirements.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trusted client relationships.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
- Experience with cloud-based accounting systems such as Xero, MYOB, APS, or similar.
