Our client is an established and highly respected design and construction business with over 30 years of success delivering premium commercial environments. With a strong reputation for quality, collaboration and innovation, the business is entering an exciting growth phase and expanding its design team.
You'll be joining a close-knit studio of approximately 12 design professionals, working from a brand-new office designed to support future growth. This is an opportunity to become a key member of a business that values creativity, ownership and attention to detail.
The Role
We're seeking a talented Senior Interior Designer who is confident leading projects from concept through to documentation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on, takes pride in producing exceptional work, and can operate with a high level of autonomy.
You'll be involved in delivering high-end commercial workplace projects, with exposure to retail and luxury residential projects as the business continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of commercial interior projects from concept through completion.
- Prepare detailed documentation primarily using Archicad.
- Develop and present design concepts and material palettes.
- Manage FF&E; selection, specification and documentation.
- Coordinate with consultants, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure projects are delivered to a high design and technical standard.
- Take ownership of projects while maintaining strong client relationships.
About You
You'll be a confident senior designer who enjoys taking responsibility and delivering outstanding design outcomes.
We're looking for someone who has:
- 6+ years' experience in interior design.
- Strong commercial workplace design experience.
- High proficiency in Archicad.
- Extensive FF&E; knowledge and specification experience.
- Exceptional technical documentation skills.
- A meticulous eye for detail.
- The ability to manage projects independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
