About the role

As a Senior Project Manager at Baseline, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful delivery multiple of construction projects across our commercial, education and Defence portfolios. This role will see you providing proactive management of all aspects of complex projects, from planning and budgeting to stakeholder coordination and on-site supervision. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

What you'll be doing

- Managing and leading project teams to deliver multiple concurrent projects in various project stages

- Promoting high performance from all team members and identifying opportunities for individual growth and progression

- Providing mentorship to junior staff and assisting with the personal development of project delivery teams

- Overseeing and guiding the effective management of cash flow, cost reporting and profitability for projects under management

- Taking a lead role in risk management and promoting a protected work environment reflective of Baseline values

- Leading the implementation of WHS systems, ensuring effective processes are in place and followed for each project. Ongoing monitor and review of system standards and policy to implement change with Senior Management

- Acting as an escalation point for project teams and develop a rapport with key clients to retain and develop positive client relationships

- Representing the client’s best interest from inception to completion of the project - Instilling Baseline core values and personality in daily operations

- Being positive role model and leader for implantation of Baseline Standards





What we're looking for

- Significant experience (5+ years) as a Project Manager in the construction industry, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects in the refurb and fit out space

- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to develop and execute detailed project plans, manage budgets, and coordinate multiple stakeholders

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, subcontractors, and team members

- Proficient in the use of project management software and tools, such as MS Project

- Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field

- Knowledge of construction industry regulations, safety standards, and quality assurance processes
