Core Talent is partnering with a well-established commercial fit out contractor to recruit an experienced Project Manager. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, our client is looking to add an accomplished Project Manager to its high-performing delivery team.

With more than 20 years in the market, this contractor has built an outstanding reputation for delivering high-quality commercial fit out and refurbishment projects across office, education, retail, hospitality and government sectors. Their projects are known for quality, repeat business and collaborative client relationships.

The Role

As Project Manager, you will take full ownership of multiple commercial fit out and refurbishment projects from pre-construction through to handover. Working closely with senior leadership, site teams and clients, you'll be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage commercial fit out and refurbishment projects from award through to completion.
- Coordinate project programmes, procurement and subcontractor management.
- Monitor project budgets, forecasting and financial performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.




- Ensure projects are delivered in line with quality, safety and programme requirements.
- Mentor and support Site Managers, Project Coordinators and Contracts Administrators.
- Identify and manage project risks while driving successful project outcomes.

About You

- Proven experience as a Project Manager within the commercial fit out and refurbishment sector - Retail fit out is advantageous
- Demonstrated experience delivering projects valued between $2M and $20M.
- Strong commercial and contractual understanding.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Building or similar.
