We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner & Kitchen Assistant to help maintain a clean, safe and organised workplace while supporting our kitchen team with basic food preparation and packaging. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working behind the scenes and being part of a busy food production setting.

Key Responsibilities

Cleaning

- Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils and kitchen equipment.
- Clean and sanitise food preparation benches and work surfaces.
- Sweep, mop and maintain all kitchen and work area floors.
- Clean kitchen equipment, including ovens, fryers, bain-maries, sinks and storage areas.
- Empty rubbish bins and replace bin liners.
- Maintain cleanliness of cool rooms, freezers and storage areas.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures.

Kitchen Support

- Assist with basic food preparation under the direction of senior staff.
- Portion and package meals, sauces, spice mixes and other products.
- Apply product labels accurately and check packaging quality.
- Prepare containers, packaging materials and ingredients for production.




- Assist with stock organisation and general kitchen duties.
- Support the team with other tasks as required during busy periods.

- Physically fit and comfortable with standing, lifting and repetitive tasks.
- Able to follow instructions and food safety procedures.
- Previous cleaning or kitchen experience is an advantage but not essential.

Working Conditions
- Casual, on-call position with flexible shifts.
- Shifts: 3PM - 9PM all days
- Full training provided.
- Uniform and personal protective equipment supplied where required.
