Dental Care Mount Barker is looking for a friendly and motivated Dental Assistant / Receptionist to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys both clinical assisting and creating exceptional patient experiences at reception.
We are offering a full-time position across a 9-day fortnight, providing a great work-life balance. Your regular day off will vary depending on the needs of the practice, ensuring we continue to support our patients and team effectively.
Job Description
As a Dental Assistant / Receptionist, you will play an important role in supporting the smooth running of our practice. You will enjoy a diverse role across both the clinic and front desk, including:
- Assisting our dentists and clinical team during patient appointments
- Preparing treatment rooms and maintaining infection control standards
- Sterilisation and maintaining clinical compliance
- Welcoming and supporting patients with a warm and professional approach
- Managing patient appointments and recalls
- Answering phone enquiries and providing excellent customer service
- Processing payments and health fund claims
- Supporting the team with day-to-day practice operations
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous Dental Assistant and/or Dental Reception experience (preferred)
- Is passionate about providing exceptional patient care and customer service
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Is organised, reliable and able to multitask in a busy environment
- Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a supportive team
- Has a positive attitude and is happy to help wherever needed
