Brief Description:

We're looking for an experienced Business Intelligence & Data Analyst to join our Business Improvement team and help transform complex data into meaningful insights that drive better decision-making across our organisation.

YOUR NEW ROLE:

Reporting to the Manager, Business Improvement, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining high-quality business intelligence reports, dashboards and analytics for internal and external stakeholders.

Working closely with operational teams, leadership and the Information Management team, you'll ensure our reporting is accurate, timely and supports informed decision-making across Holstep Health.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex data challenges while making a genuine impact within the community health sector.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

In this role, you will:

- Design, develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and business intelligence reports.

- Develop automated reporting solutions using SQL, Power BI and Microsoft Excel.

- Manage data extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) processes.

- Ensure the accuracy, integrity and quality of organisational data.

- Monitor and troubleshoot data integrations, migrations and reporting processes.





- Prepare statutory and operational reports for internal and external stakeholders.

- Analyse business requirements and translate them into effective reporting solutions.

- Support continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis and reporting.

- Provide expert advice and training to stakeholders on reporting tools and dashboards.

- Collaborate across the organisation to improve data quality, reporting capability and business processes.

- Maintain compliance with privacy, information security and governance requirements.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

You are an analytical thinker with strong technical skills and a passion for using data to solve business problems.

To be successful, you will have:

- A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics or a related discipline.

- Demonstrated experience (minimum 5 years) working with SQL Server, enterprise databases and data warehouses.

- Advanced SQL skills and experience developing complex queries.

- Extensive experience using Power BI to create reports, dashboards and data models.

- Strong understanding of ETL processes and data transformation.

- Experience developing automated reporting solutions.





- Knowledge of DAX and relational database design.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

- Experience working collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.

- The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high levels of accuracy.

Desirable

- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.

- Project Management certification (PRINCE2, PMP or equivalent).

- Postgraduate qualifications in Data Science or Data Analytics.
