We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Dockhand / Warehouse Labourer to join our busy freight and logistics operation in Toowoomba.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys physical work, works well in a team environment, and takes pride in maintaining a safe and efficient workplace.
About the Role
Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Manual unloading of trailers
- Sorting and handling freight
- Building and wrapping pallets
- Scanning freight and processing shipments
- Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and general tidiness
- Following workplace health and safety procedures
Candidates who hold a current Forklift Licence LF will also assist with:
- Loading and unloading pallets trailers
- General forklift operations within the warehouse
- For the right candidate, there is an opportunity to transition into a permanent position.
Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00am start
- Approximate finish time between 4:00pm and 5:30pm, depending on workload and operational requirements
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- Ability to perform physically demanding manual work
- Valuable attention to detail
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Previous warehouse, freight handling, or dockhand experience preferred but not essential
Desirable
- Current Forklift Licence LF
- Previous freight or transport industry experience
